圖書翻譯對(duì)譯員有什么要求?

　　1. Strong understanding ability.To understand the original text thoroughly in book translation, it must be inseparable from the understanding of the original English text. Don't say you don't understand it at all. Even if you know it half-way, you can't be competent for book translation. First of all, we should see if there are habitual expressions in the original text. If there are, we should be careful. We must make mistakes when we look at the original text. To improve the understanding ability and accuracy of the original text.

　　1、較強(qiáng)的理解能力。能夠把原文理解透徹圖書翻譯，肯定離不開(kāi)對(duì)英文原文的理解。別說(shuō)完全不懂，即便是一知半解，也是無(wú)法勝任圖書翻譯工作的。先要看原文之中有沒(méi)有習(xí)慣表達(dá)方式，如果有，就要小心，望文生義一定會(huì)弄錯(cuò)的。要提高對(duì)原文的理解能力與準(zhǔn)確性。

　　2、地道的母語(yǔ)表達(dá)。尤其是做英文翻譯中文，精通中文肯定是首要條件。一說(shuō)“精通中文”很多人就以為會(huì)寫會(huì)說(shuō)中國(guó)話就行了。完全不是這樣，精通中文意味著中文表達(dá)要地道。要想中文表達(dá)地道，就必須讓古詩(shī)文底子厚實(shí)，因?yàn)橹袊?guó)的語(yǔ)言文字是從古代發(fā)展過(guò)來(lái)的。不尋根，不懂根，你的中文水平一定是高不到哪兒去的。深厚的古詩(shī)文功底會(huì)讓譯文更簡(jiǎn)潔、更有味道則應(yīng)該是起碼的要求。 如果你改用一般語(yǔ)言，估計(jì)翻譯出來(lái)的句子不僅長(zhǎng)，耐人尋味之處也蕩然無(wú)存了。

　　4、縝密的邏輯思維問(wèn)題。邏輯思維能彌補(bǔ)語(yǔ)言修煉的不足，縝密邏輯有著承上啟下的作用，一方面是進(jìn)一步準(zhǔn)確理解原文，另一方面是為接下來(lái)的意思以及句子組合作準(zhǔn)備。一旦我們的邏輯分析得出結(jié)論，我們對(duì)原文的理解便有了著落，對(duì)譯文的組織也就有了基礎(chǔ)。

　　5. Correct translation habits and good habits are the last key to ensure the quality of translated works.If we do a good job in front of us, the quality can not be guaranteed only because we fail to follow the habits or procedures that should be followed in the end. First of all, we should clarify the author and the publishing background of the work. Second, understand the core content of books. Thirdly, translation reorganization. Translation does not proceed word by word, but first decomposes sentences into several parts, then finds out the core words, clarifies the meaning of these core words, and combines them according to logical relations. This combination of sentences may be quite different from the original structure, so long as the meaning and logic are appropriate, the translation will stand. Fourth, check the consistency of style. 　　5、正確的翻譯習(xí)慣樹立良好習(xí)慣是保證翻譯作品質(zhì)量的最后一個(gè)關(guān)口。如果我們前面都做得不錯(cuò)，只因最后沒(méi)有遵守應(yīng)該遵守的習(xí)慣或者程序，質(zhì)量依然無(wú)法保證。首先，要弄清作者和作品出版背景。第二，弄懂圖書的核心內(nèi)容。第三，翻譯重組。翻譯不是逐字逐句進(jìn)行，而是先將句子分解成若干部分，再?gòu)闹姓页龊诵脑~匯，將這些核心詞匯的意思弄清楚，根據(jù)邏輯關(guān)系進(jìn)行組合。如此組合出來(lái)的句子也許與原文結(jié)構(gòu)大為不同，只要意義和邏輯上恰當(dāng)，譯文就站得住腳。第四，檢查文風(fēng)是否一致。檢查看看有無(wú)錯(cuò)譯或者漏譯。還要檢查風(fēng)格是否前后一致，尤其在用詞與造句方面。
